True to its name， Autumn Blaze is an ornamental tree with spectacular flame-colored fall foliage. The award-winning red and silver hybrid is tailored to be a stronger， more color-consistent tree. The leaves are red-tinged in the spring， turn full green in the summer， and then erupt into its flame-like yellow and red in the fall. They also last longer into the fall than most other trees. Besides its spectacular fall color， Autumn Blaze's upright rounded habit provides great shade for your yard and will keep you and your home cool during the hot days of summer. Its upward limb growth pattern lets it stand up well to heavy snow and ice loads as well. That pattern is also narrower than most other shade trees making it an excellent choice for small yards and narrow spaces. It is a fast-growing， deciduous tree which can reach heights of about 35 feet tall with a 30 foot spread. It is hardy in USDA Zones 4-8. The Autumn Blaze Maple is drought， disease， and pest resistant needing only occasional summer waterings and minimal care.
