One of Heirloom's finest shrub roses from our hybridizing program. Bred from 'Graham Thomas' X 'Gold Badge'. An outstanding yellow shrub. It took a very special rose to earn the name 'Morning Has Broken' which is an old Scottish hymn and Louise's favorite song for many years. The most beautiful, rich yellow, semi-double 3 1/2" blooms (petals 15) change ever so gradually to soft yellow and literally cover the bush. Holds up well in the heat. Another outstanding attribute is that it is one of the most hardy, repeat blooming roses on the market today.
- Own Root - All of our roses at Heirloom Roses are own root live plants, which means they will produce more blooms, be more hardy, and stay true to variety throughout their lifetimes, contrary to grafted rose bushes.
- One Gallon - All of our live rose plants are 12-16 months old and delivered in one gallon containers with rich soil.
- Very Fragrant
- Approximate Size - 4' x 4' - 5' - This is the indefinite size of the rose bush when it reaches full maturity. Upon delivery, rose plants will be approximately 12-16 inches tall.
- Hardiness Zones - 5-9
- Continual Blooming & Hardy - Will bloom non-stop throughout the growing season. Hardy roses are easy to grow and low maintenance.
