It’ll make building your cable stair railing easier and more accurate. The post has a welded base and leveling plate that you attach directly to the stairs. The post is already drilled for cables. The holes are elongated to allow for stair angles. The hardware that tightens and secures cables is hidden inside the post. The kit also comes with a matching post cap and post skirt， so your stair railing will have a beautiful， finished look. To complete your railing， you will need Deckorators stainless steel cable kits， sold separately (item 164244438).
