Crimson Fire Loropetalum is a phenomenal low growing loropetalum reaching two to three feet tall. It has red to burgundy foliage while bearing neon pink strap like flowers in mid spring. Crimson Fire is an easy to maintain fast growing shrub which is also deer resistant. When planting this Loropetalum, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in Spring. Not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival.
