Unlike most Crape Myrtles, Summer Lavender blooms early and last longer than any other. It is also deer resistant so you can enjoy these frilly lavender blooms longer! Does best in medium moisture, well-drained soil and in full sun. Crape Myrtles are known to be drought tolerant and can be grown in tough soils such as clay. It can be left in shrub form or pruned over time to tree form. As part of the Bloomables® program, this plant was bred to prolifically produce flowers throughout the flowering season.
